About this role

Role Aim / Purpose

Professionals within the APAC GPS ETF Product Team support the delivery management and promotion of BlackRocks iShares investment vehicles. This role focuses on supporting product development range management and commercialization efforts across Japan-listed and global ETF products.

The position is based in Tokyo and offers exposure to product innovation strategy and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of Japan-listed ETFs to market and assist in ongoing range management activities

• Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g. Legal Compliance Product Sales Operations) to support product strategy execution

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and potential product gaps

• Support sales teams with product materials analytics and ETF-related insights

• Assist in maintaining high standards across ETF product governance and quality

• Contribute to initiatives improving product platform reporting and operational processes

• Support the development and maintenance of marketing materials including product pages and client content

Skills Experience & Knowledge Required

• 25 years of relevant experience in financial services (product structuring strategy or related areas)

• Basic understanding of ETFs and/or investment products (mutual funds private funds); willingness to deepen expertise

• Strong attention to detail organization and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Good communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to analyze information and present insights clearly and concisely

• Proactive mindset with ability to work independently with guidance

• Experience working across teams and cultures is a plus

• Native Japanese and business-level English
