LNT Application Specialist is responsible for assesses potential application of company products to meet customer needs pre and/or post-sales and prepares detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions in alignment with manufacturer stated specifications. Creates detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions. Builds mini-applications with process simulation often requiring rapid software modeling and/or product demo/training (at conferences seminars trade shows or customer sites) for customer. May assist with optimizing products to meet customer needs and workflow requirements.. This very interesting position is located in Tokyo and reports to LNT Manager in Japan.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Responsible for LNT products sales and order numbers.: customer visits equipment demonstrations equipment training and application support participation in exhibitions and academic conferences (including presentations at luncheon seminars) and promotional activities. Creation of application notes and product catalogs as well as providing technical support.
  • Utilization of SFDC and enhancement of Funnel management
  • Measured by Achievement Rate

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Education: BS Degree
  • Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as an Application Specialist in the Life Science or Applied/Industry market.
  • Languages: Japanese is a must.
  • Excellent selling skills Negotiation skills Relationship building with key persons of the customer Communication skills and teamwork with line managers and colleagues.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • English capability is preferred. (Email correspondence Online training etc.)
  • Travel (required estimated % of time) 2550%
