BACKGROUND
The Management Services Division (MSD) seeks digital solutions to meet the organizations growing demands and drive digital transformation initiatives.
The UN Booking Hub is a global digital marketplace that consolidates shared services for UN staff including travel accommodation mobility clinics and other operational support.
The Hub is used daily by thousands of users across WFP UN Agencies NGOs and partners.
To ensure continuous service excellence and alignment with UN Reform principles the Hub requires dedicated support on quality monitoring user experience improvements and content management.
PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
The Volunteer will support the Booking Hub Digital Managers and Service Line Managers in ensuring high quality user-friendly and reliable services.
The role focuses on supporting change management activities for service innovation in field operations and Global HQ.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direct supervision of the Booking Hub Digital Manager the Volunteer will:
Support change management activities for the rollout of Supply Chain on-demand services across47 countries helping drive awareness engagement and adoption.
Support the management and coordination of relevant country focal points both within WFP andacross partner organizations including follow-up on open points requests and next steps arisingfrom engagement activities.
Assist in organizing and coordinating demos meetings and webinars with WFP Supply Chaincolleagues and partner organizations to support service rollout and engagement.
Review demo training and communication materials as requested ensuring consistency clarityand alignment with rollout objectives.
Draft minutes and key takeaways from meetings demos and webinars and support follow-uptracking to help ensure continuity of engagement and action.
Track in-country adoption through relevant dashboards and share progress updates with keystakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Collect and consolidate feedback from countries and partners support its tracking andprioritization and contribute to identifying recurring questions good practices and commonadoption barriers.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Education: Completion of an advanced or First University degree in Information Technology Business administration International Development Liberal Arts or related field.
Experience:
Experience with customer service community management or content management
Familiarity with data analysis digital platforms or CMS systems is an asset.
Previous exposure to UN or international organizations is an advantage.
Knowledge & Skills:
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
Familiarity with technology and service quality standards.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail and reliability.
Languages: Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing in fluent English (level C).
