Job Purpose

As a Waiter/Waitress with Soho House your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm we will give you a platform to connect grow have fun and make an impact

Your main responsibility is to ensure that members have an enjoyable experience. You will deliver excellent service from initial greeting taking orders making recommendations and paying of the bill in line with our steps of service.

Key Accountabilities:

• To greet members as they settle down at their table and introducing them to menus.
• To ensuretables are set up before seating members and offering them water or drinks. Water is topped up throughout their stay.
• To takemembers ordersusing theand deliver them to the kitchen staff for preparation.
• To confirm fooditemsmatch the orders and deliver them to the correct table.
• To correctly openbottles of wine or champagne and pouring for members ensuringglasses are topped up throughout their stay.
• To provide service and accountability for designated section.
• To check withmembersif they have any allergy of dietary requirements.
• Topossess a strong understanding of the food and drink menuin order tomake recommendations on pairings and any other specific member requests.
• To engage with member check if they are satisfied with their visit including food and drink and if theyneed anything else.
• To log and recall member preferences and accommodate special requests where possible to creative a positive outcome that will result in a memorable member
• To perform opening and closing procedures including but not limited to the set up and break down of stations.
• Tomaintain a spotless and pristine working environment.
• To provide members with the bill and processing payment.
• To attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu changes and specials alongside daily tastings.
• To support with runningfood from the kitchen and drinks for the barto the tables when needed.
• To wipedown tables after members have leftresetting the restaurantand club space.
• To resolve or escalatemember complaints handling all member interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
• To actin all matters related to safety security satisfaction and wellbeing of employees and members.
• To assure the proper handling of VIPs and PWKs protecting their privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements:

A successful Waiter/Waitress for Soho House willideallyhave up to1-2years experiencein a busy high-profile venue and a natural flair for first class reliablefriendlyand happy to be a key part of the team that strives for success.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to seize grasp turn and hold objects by hand
• Able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours
• Occasionally kneel bend crouch and climb asrequired
