This role is eligible for a $10000 sign-on bonus subject to the terms and conditions of the Companys sign-on bonus program.

Position Summary

At Apex we design and deliver transportation projects that improve how communities move and connect. Our team works on roadway drainage multimodal bridge-related and utility infrastructure projects for FDOT counties municipalities and other public agencies throughout Florida.

Were looking for a Transportation Project Manager who enjoys leading complex projects building client relationships mentoring staff and solving real-world engineering challenges. This role provides the opportunity to manage projects from pursuit through design permitting bidding and construction while working with a highly collaborative team of engineers designers and technical specialists.

What Youll Do

You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients and lead multidisciplinary project teams responsible for delivering transportation infrastructure projects. Youll work closely with FDOT and local agencies coordinate with utilities and permitting authorities oversee project budgets and schedules and guide technical staff through successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing project scope schedule budget and client communication.
• Leading project delivery teams through design permitting bidding and construction support.
• Overseeing quality control efforts and technical reviews.
• Supporting business development proposals interviews and client relationship management.

What Were Looking For

• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 8 years of transportation engineering experience.
• Experience managing projects for FDOT counties municipalities or other public-sector clients.
• Strong understanding of FDOT standards project delivery processes and transportation design.
• The ability to lead teams develop staff and build long-term client relationships.
