  Primary Objective

  The Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities hardware and software upgrades (TSBs) providing backup first-line (Level 1) service and supporting instrument installations and deinstallations.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours of labor)

  • Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities

  • Execute hardware and software upgrades (Technical Service Bulletins TSBs)

  • Support instrument installations and deinstallations

  • Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction (NPS) service KPIs and the districts economic growth and profitability

  Education

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required

  • Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical electrical mechanical engineering or medical technology preferred

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

  • Strong experience using analytical tools and technical software
