Primary ObjectiveThe Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities hardware and software upgrades (TSBs) providing backup first-line (Level 1) service and supporting instrument installations and deinstallations.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first-line technical service to Abbott Ambassadors (service interventions requiring less than 4 hours of labor)
Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities
Execute hardware and software upgrades (Technical Service Bulletins TSBs)
Support instrument installations and deinstallations
Contribute to achieving customer satisfaction (NPS) service KPIs and the districts economic growth and profitability
EducationBachelors degree or equivalent experience required
Bachelors / Engineering degree in medical electrical mechanical engineering or medical technology preferred
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong experience using analytical tools and technical software
Impact of the RoleThis position plays a key role in ensuring instrument reliability service quality and customer satisfaction through effective maintenance upgrades and technical support activities.
