Role Overview

As Technical Product Manager you will own how Skillvue connects to the outside world and how its product ecosystem fits together. Skillvues value depends on being embedded inside the HR systems enterprises already run so you will own the roadmap for our integrations and the platform surfaces (APIs embeddability data flows) that make that possible and you will be the person who keeps the whole product ecosystem coherent and clearly communicated internally.

You will work directly with the Head of Product and sit at the intersection between Engineering AI/ML and the Science team translating between commercial reality technical constraints and scientific rigour. This is a hands-on technical role: you should be comfortable reading an API specs reasoning about a data model and pushing back on a roadmap that doesnt hold up technically.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap for how Skillvue integrates with external systems (ATS HRIS and the broader HR tech stack our enterprise clients run) from prioritisation through specification and rollout
• Own the platform surfaces that make integration possible: APIs embeddability data contracts and the developer/partner experience
• Own the internal coherence of the Skillvue product ecosystem how the pieces fit together and communicate that clearly across the company so every team shares the same vision
• Work directly with customers their IT and technical teams as well as their business teams to streamline operations manage integrations and explain how Skillvues functionalities work and fit into their stack
• Define and run product development processes alongside the Software Engineering AI/ML and Science teams: discovery specification prioritisation and delivery
• Translate enterprise and commercial requirements into technical specs the engineering AI/ML and science teams can build against and translate technical constraints back into language commercial teams can act on
• Make and document architecture-level product trade-offs (build vs. integrate where data lives what we expose) in partnership with engineering and AI/ML leads
• Be the connective tissue between Product Engineering AI/ML and Science keeping roadmaps aligned and surfacing conflicts early

Requirements & Skills

• 24 years of relevant experience ideally in B2B SaaS platform or technical product environments
• Technical fluency: you read API documentation comfortably reason about data models and system design and hold credible technical conversations with senior engineers at ease
• Stakeholder management: you manage stakeholders internally and externally (customers their IT teams their business teams) and move fluidly between deep technical conversations and business or functional ones adapting to whoever is in the room
• Ownership: you own the problem and push it through to resolution even when it isnt formally your responsibility
• Intensity: youre committed to intense demanding work and you bring real energy to it
• Courage: youre not fazed by a fast-paced constantly changing startup environment; ambiguity and change dont slow you down
• Fluent English; Italian is a plus
