What youll be doing

As our Staff Software Engineer Consumer Wealth Domain youll play a defining and strategic role in shaping how our users grow and manage their savings and investments. Heres what that looks like in practice:

• Define Technical Strategy Define the technical strategy for the Consumer Wealth domain architecting complex subsystems that power savings and investment features with cross-product considerations.

• Advance the Architecture Design and build scalable high-quality systems that solve complex financial engineering problems including managing and simplifying complex back-end systems.

• Technical Thought Leadership Build cross-organizational relationships to drive technical alignment represent the technical vision and stay ahead of emerging technology trends in FinTech and wealth management.

• Develop Talent Develop the next generation of technical leaders and champion a culture of high-quality engineering and continuous improvement.

• Generate Impact Play a vital role in helping users grow their wealth through contributions to the Consumer Wealth back-end infrastructure (Java Spring Boot PostgreSQL AWS).

Who were looking for

This role needs a visionary problem-solver who excels in cross-team collaboration with deep technical expertise.

• Extensive Experience At least 7 years in back-end software engineering within product-based companies with a proven track record of architecting building and maintaining microservices and complex cloud environments.

• Domain Expertise Deep experience with Java a strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS is a plus) and interest in financial products and wealth management systems.

• Strategic Communication Ability to communicate in a structured and convincing manner building trust and cross-organizational relationships to achieve technical alignment.

• Thought Leadership Proven ability to generate intellectual property lead technical vision and capitalize on emerging technology trends.

• Passion and Language Skills Passion for FinTech or startup environments and fluency in English.

Salary: 64000- 88000 gross per annum
This range is set using objective gender-neutral criteria for the roles core requirements. However we do not believe in putting a ceiling on talent. The final compensation package is tailored according to your unique experience and expertise.
