The Product
ShippyPro is building the AI operating system for shipping and fulfillment.
Our platform helps merchants automate and orchestrate the entire delivery workflow from carrier selection and label generation to tracking returns delivery intelligence and post-purchase operations.
We connect e-commerce platforms carriers warehouses and logistics systems into one unified infrastructure powered by automation data and AI-driven workflows.
Our goal is simple: remove operational complexity and help teams make faster smarter and more autonomous shipping decisions at scale.

The Fulfillment Pod owns the core of what makes ShippyPro work: order management and label generation. Millions of requests zero room for sloppy engineering.
Your job is to grow the team raise the bar and keep shipping literally and figuratively.

- Lead and grow the Fulfillment Pod hiring mentoring and setting the technical bar
- Own the architecture and delivery of core fulfillment systems
- Balance hands-on coding with technical leadership youre still in the codebase
- Partner with Product and Design to turn roadmap into shipped scalable features
- Drive performance scalability and reliability across the pods services
- Bring AI into the workflow automating what can be automated freeing the team to focus on what matters
- Run the teams rituals: planning reviews retros keep them lean and useful
What Youll Bring
- 5-7 years of experience in software engineering ideally with some in a leadership or mentoring capacity
- Strong knowledge of backend systems (PHP NodeJS or Python); our stack uses all three
- Solid grasp of system design clean architecture and the trade-offs that come with scale
- Experience leading mentoring or growing engineers technically and personally
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
- A problem-solver mindset: logical curious and allergic to over-engineering
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) - we operate in English
