Service Engineer (DCS) mfd

The Project Engineer is responsible for the design implementation testing and commissioning of industrial automation solutions for HPS customers. They ensure the technical execution of projects in compliance with agreed quality safety cost and schedule requirements.

Typical responsibilities include developing technical documentation configuring control systems managing testing activities and providing support during commissioning phases.

• Perform engineering activities for Honeywell Experion PKS FSC Safety Manager systems and related infrastructure.
• Develop control and supervisory system architectures in accordance with customer requirements and Honeywell standards.
• Prepare and review technical documentation including Functional Design Specifications (FDS) Cause & Effect matrices test procedures and as-built documentation.
• Define and support the implementation of industrial network architectures including DCS networks industrial switches virtualization server infrastructure cybersecurity and integration with the customers IT networks.
• Perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and commissioning activities.
• Monitor the entire material and system order lifecycle with Honeywell factories ensuring compliance with production and delivery milestones.
• Verify order status monitor potential supply chain issues and coordinate corrective actions with planning procurement and manufacturing teams.
• Manage technical coordination with suppliers subcontractors Honeywell factories and project execution teams.
• Collaborate with Project Managers Service Managers Sales teams and customers throughout all project phases.
• Support the resolution of technical issues during project execution and plant start-up.
• Ensure compliance with Honeywell procedures and standards related to quality safety and cybersecurity.

• Bachelors degree in Automation Engineering Electrical Engineering Electronics Engineering Computer Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Experience with DCS PLC SCADA or SIS systems in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of industrial network architectures and both physical and virtual server infrastructures.
• Understanding of process control architectures and industrial communication networks.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Good command of the English language.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally to customer sites. The role may require on-site customer activities and travel related to system commissioning.
