Job Summary

The Senior Director Product Management (Data & AI) is responsible for defining driving and delivering Fortreas enterprise Data & AI product strategy product portfolio and multi-year product roadmap. This role serves as the senior product leader for Data & AI accountable for ensuring that enterprise data products analytics products AI solutions and emerging digital capabilities align with Fortreas strategic objectives and long-term technology vision. The position owns the end-to-end product lifecycle including product vision roadmap development investment prioritization delivery oversight adoption value realization and continuous improvement.


The Senior Director Product Management will lead a team of Product Managers and work closely with Engineering Data AI Enterprise Architecture Business Stakeholders Program Management Security and Operations teams to ensure products are delivered successfully and produce measurable business outcomes. As a member of the Data & AI leadership team this role is accountable for translating Fortreas three-year Data & AI strategy into an executable and measurable product portfolio that delivers enterprise value operational efficiency innovation and competitive advantage.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Develop and maintain the enterprise Data & AI product strategy aligned to Fortreas business objectives and three-year technology roadmap.
  • Establish a clear product vision for enterprise data analytics artificial intelligence automation and emerging digital capabilities.
  • Define and maintain multi-year product roadmaps that balance business priorities technical investments innovation opportunities and organizational capacity.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to identify future product opportunities and strategic business needs.
  • Translate enterprise strategy into actionable product objectives priorities and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive product innovation and identify opportunities to maximize the value of enterprise data and AI investments.

Data & AI Product Portfolio Leadership

  • Own the enterprise Data & AI product portfolio including product lifecycle management prioritization governance and performance management.
  • Establish portfolio management processes supporting product intake evaluation funding prioritization and roadmap planning.
  • Ensure alignment and integration across data analytics AI reporting governance and platform-related products.
  • Balance short-term business needs with long-term strategic product investments.
  • Define product success metrics and value realization frameworks across the portfolio.
  • Continuously evaluate portfolio performance and optimize investment decisions based on business outcomes and strategic priorities.

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Own successful delivery of enterprise data and AI products from concept through deployment and ongoing enhancement.
  • Partner with Engineering Architecture Data and Program Management leaders to ensure successful delivery of product roadmaps.
  • Drive prioritization of product backlogs and delivery plans to maximize business value.
  • Remove obstacles impacting product execution and serve as an escalation point for strategic product issues.
  • Ensure products are delivered within approved scope timelines budget and quality expectations.
  • Oversee adoption usage performance and ongoing evolution of deployed products.
  • Establish product governance and operating models supporting sustainable delivery and continuous improvement.

Business Partnership & Value Realization

  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and Data & AI delivery teams.
  • Establish strong relationships with functional leaders to understand business objectives challenges and opportunities.
  • Ensure product investments align with measurable business outcomes and enterprise priorities.
  • Develop business cases supporting product investments and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead value realization reviews to demonstrate business impact and return on investment.
  • Drive customer-centric and business-driven product development practices.

People Leadership

  • Build lead and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers Product Owners and product leadership professionals.
  • Establish the product management operating model and organizational structure for the Data & AI organization.
  • Provide coaching mentoring performance management and career development opportunities for team members.
  • Drive talent acquisition succession planning workforce planning and organizational capability development.
  • Foster a culture of ownership innovation accountability customer focus and continuous improvement.
  • Develop product management capabilities and best practices across the broader Data & AI organization.

Financial & Investment Management

  • Develop and manage Data & AI product investment plans and strategic funding priorities.
  • Partner with Finance and Technology leadership on annual budget planning and investment governance.
  • Evaluate product investment opportunities and prioritize initiatives based on business value risk cost and strategic alignment.
  • Support build-versus-buy decisions and product investment recommendations.
  • Monitor product portfolio investment performance and value realization.
  • Ensure effective stewardship of product-related technology investments.

Stakeholder & Executive Leadership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership regarding Data & AI product strategy performance and future investments.
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level product roadmaps business reviews investment recommendations and performance updates.
  • Lead product governance forums roadmap reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  • Communicate product strategy and business value across technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
  • Partner with Enterprise Architecture Security Compliance Program Management and Technology leaders to ensure alignment across all product initiatives.

Qualifications (Minimum Required):

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Computer Science Information Technology Engineering Data Analytics or related field.
  • Fortrea may consider relevant and equivalent experience and successful project outcomes in lieu of educational requirements.

Experience (Minimum Required):

  • 12 years of progressive leadership experience in Product Management Technology Leadership Data & Analytics Digital Products or related disciplines.
  • 7 years of experience leading enterprise product portfolios product organizations or large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success developing and delivering multi-year product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Experience managing enterprise technology data analytics or AI-related products.
  • Proven people leadership experience including hiring mentoring developing and leading Product Managers.
  • Experience managing investment portfolios business cases budgeting and strategic planning activities.
  • Exceptional executive communication stakeholder management and influencing skills.

Preferred Qualifications Include:

  • Masters Degree in Business Administration Technology Management Data Analytics Artificial Intelligence or related discipline.
  • Experience leading Data Analytics AI Machine Learning Digital or Platform Product organizations.
  • Familiarity with Azure Microsoft Fabric Power Platform AI platforms and enterprise analytics environments.
  • Experience operating within life sciences healthcare CRO or other regulated industries.
  • Product Management certifications or Agile Product Management experience preferred.

  • Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
  • Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.
  • Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast simple repeated movements of the fingers hands and wrists.
  • Occasional crouching stooping with frequent bending and twisting of upper body and neck.
  • Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.
  • Light to moderate lifting and carrying or moving of objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.
  • Regular and consistent attendance.
