Senior Accountant - Import/Export Specialist(all genders).

In this function you take over theinternational trade operations including EU and nonEU transactions VAT regulations and customs procedures.The position plays a key role in ensuring compliance and accuracy across international accounting and trade processes while supporting business growth in a global environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage all accounting activities related to import/export transactions
• Ensure proper VAT treatment for Intra-EU transactionsExtra-EU transactionsTriangular and multi-party transactions
  
• Record and monitor sales invoices inNavision ERP
• Support and coordinate themonthly financial reporting process
• Prepare and submitIntrastat declarations
• Performmonthly VAT calculations and support quarterly and annual VAT returns
• Ensure compliance withcustoms documentation and regulations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement LogisticsSalesAdministration
• Monitor international shipments and logistics flows from a financial perspective
• Support commercial activities involving international clients

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelors degree with at least 5 years of experience or alternatively 10 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong knowledge ofInternational VAT regulations Customs procedures Trade compliance
• Proficiency in ERP systems (ideally Navision) and MS Office
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• High level of accountability and ownership
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in across-functional and international environment
