We are looking for a Project Manager / Product Owner to join our team in Rome driving the delivery of IT and innovation projects. You will work at the intersection of business and technology collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders while contributing to projects within the European innovation ecosystem.

To successfully deliver high-quality IT projects while acting as the bridge between business needs and technical execution ensuring alignment efficiency and impact across all project phases.
Your tasks 1st part (in max 4 bullets)
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT/software projects (scope timing quality)
- Act as Product Owner managing and prioritizing the product backlog
- Translate business needs into clear technical requirements
- Collaborate closely with developers and technical teams
Your tasks 2nd part (In max 4 bullets)
- Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) in daily project execution
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including international partners
- Monitor project performance and manage risks and dependencies
- Contribute to projects within the EU innovation ecosystem (e.g. Horizon Europe)
Your profile 1st part (in max 4 bullets)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management and/or Product Ownership
- Proven experience in hands-on project delivery within software environments
- Strong experience working with developers and technical teams
- Solid knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban)

- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Exposure to EU-funded projects or European innovation ecosystem is a strong plus
- Fluent in Italian and English
- Based in Rome or able to relocate immediately and work 23 days onsite
