Job Summary

Your contribution to Prysmians Success:

We are looking for a Project Engineer Land Installation to join our office in Milan.

Reporting directly to the Regional Lead Engineer Land Installation you will be part of a dynamic and international environment working on strategic EPCI projects that are key to the green transition to renewable energy. You will play an active part in the execution and success of cable installation activities interacting with internal stakeholders subcontractors and clients. This role will be a great opportunity to develop solid technical and projectrelated competencies in a fastgrowing sector.

Your key duties and responsibilities:

  • Participate in tenders for cable installation activities analysing client documentation and preparing cost estimates.

  • Support the definition of cable installation requirements.

  • Prepare technical documentation for cable installation activities including detailed drawings and descriptive reports.

  • Collaborate closely with internal departments external consultants subcontractors and clients.

  • Support the planning of on-site cable installation activities including occasional site visits.

  • Provide technical support to the purchasing department during subcontract finalisation.

  • Prepare and review final as-built documentation.

  • Carry out other reasonable duties associated with the Installation Engineering function.

You are the right fit if you have/are:

  • Fluent in English

  • A degree in engineering (preferably civil mechanical or materials engineering)

  • Up to 3-5 years of work experience (preferably in the EPCI sector)

  • Basic knowledge of the land cable installation business/market is a plus

  • Knowledge and familiarity with common software such as Microsoft Project Word Excel AutoCAD and GIS

  • Knowledge of the German Language is a plus (not mandatory)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team

  • problem-solving skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach in complex environments

  • Ability to set and manage priorities pragmatically

  • Flexibility and ability to manage changes during work

  • Eagerness to learn quickly and actively contribute

What we offer you:

  • Type of contract: Permanent full time

  • Location: Milano

  • Applicable Collective Agreement: CCNL Gomma Plastica Cavi elettrici e affini.

  • Job Level/Category: in line with the applicable collective agreement

  • Gross annual salary no less than: 34.000

  • The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
