Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented PMO & Project Control Intern to join our ProjectManagement Office (PMO) team. This role is designed for a proactive student or recent graduate eager togain hands-on experience in project governance financial backoffice activities and industry-standard projectmanagement tools.
You will work closely with the PMO team to ensure data accuracy support resource management and assistin maintaining our enterprise project tracking systems (Oracle Primavera P6 and Oracle OCM).
Key Responsibilities
1. PMO Backoffice & Governance Support:
- Data Maintenance: Support the team in gathering organizing and updating project documentationstatus reports and KPI dashboards.
- Administrative Support: Assist in tracking team workloads updating resource allocation logs andpreparing materials for stakeholder and steering committee meetings.
- Process Optimization: Help maintain and streamline PMO templates guidelines and internalknowledge repositories.
2. Tools & Systems Support (Primavera P6 / Oracle OCM)
- Schedule & Progress Tracking: Assist Project Managers and PMO analysts in updating projectstructures (WBS) milestones and progress updates within Oracle Primavera P6.
- Financial & Revenue Backoffice: Support the administration of project financials revenuemanagement and cost control tracking within Oracle OCM.
- Data Validation: Run routine checks to ensure consistency between operational project schedulesand financial forecasting tools.
3. Reporting & Analytics
- Extract data from P6 and Oracle OCM to assist in building weekly/monthly portfolio reports.
- Contribute to the creation of visual data reports and dashboards to help the PMO track cost centerhealth and project delivery metrics.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelors or Masters degree in EngineeringManagement Business Administration Economics Supply Chain or a related field.
- Technical Skills & Competencies:
- Tool Proficiency: Strong command of the MS Office Suite with advanced Excel skills(VLOOKUPs Pivot Tables data formulas) being essential.
- Tool Awareness: Previous academic exposure or a strong willingness to quickly learn enterprisetools like Oracle Primavera P6 Oracle OCM or Power BI is highly valued.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a sharp eye for spotting datadiscrepancies in financial or scheduling reports.
- Soft Skills
- Organization: Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage multiple smalltasks simultaneously without losing focus.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate withinternal team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Proactivity: A self-starter attitude with a genuine curiosity to understand how a corporate PMOfunctions as a strategic cost center.
