Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect & Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect & Data Engineer to join an international organisation operating in a highly dynamic and innovation-driven environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure architecture and data engineering who can design implement and manage scalable cloud solutions and modern data platforms.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and optimising cloud infrastructure data integration architectures and enterprise data solutions.

• Design implement and manage scalable cloud architectures and integration solutions on Microsoft Azure.

• Ensure high availability disaster recovery performance optimisation and cost efficiency across cloud environments.

• Evaluate select and implement appropriate Azure services to meet business and technical requirements.

• Support cloud migration transformation and modernisation initiatives.

• Design develop and maintain modern Azure data platforms including Azure Data Factory (ADF) Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure SQL.

• Build and manage reliable batch and real-time data pipelines.

• Implement data quality security and governance standards.

• Monitor cloud and data platform performance ensuring reliability and operational efficiency.

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with Microsoft Azure.

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture services and cloud solutions.

• Proven experience as a Cloud Data Engineer.

• Solid understanding of data warehousing Lakehouse architectures SQL and data modelling.

• Practical experience with batch and real-time data processing and integration patterns.

• Scripting experience using PowerShell Python and/or SQL.

• Experience with cloud monitoring performance management and observability tools.

• Fluency in English; Italian is a must.

• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or Azure Data Engineer certifications.

• Experience working with hybrid cloud environments.

• Knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions particularly Power BI and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
