As global leader in coatings and paints we are seeking for you a proactive Logistic Specialist who wants to build an exciting and solid career in Hempel in our expert Logistic department.

This position offers you the window to actively participate in refining our processes. You will work alongside our Logistics Manager for South-East Europe be based in Italy collaborate closely with our factories and a diverse team of colleagues from Italy Turkey and worldwide.

You will have the opportunity to focus on handling key logistics activities among others planning and analyzing the logistical resources required to flow assigned products through the supply chain ensuring process efficiency timeliness and compliance with legal and quality requirements.

Moreover you can look forward to:

• Maintaining and analyzing required inventory parameters and data in terms of required quality unhealthy stock goods shelf life inventory levels coverage groups ROP and/or minimum stock levels.
• Placing purchasing orders in the system while supervising coordinating and following the safety stock and demand requirements. All the above ensuring that goods are delivered in time and in full.
• Invoicing supervising financial reserves for transport costs.
• Implementing critical metrics for taking corrective actions in the event of their deviations.
• Developing and maintaining a master schedule which pertains to transportation information routing carriers and cost effectiveness.

What do you need to be successful in this role

• Your experience in inventory replenishment and management warehousing processes purchasing shipping and transport is required for this role.
• A background in Logistics/Supply Chain education is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and the Dynamix system. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems being a plus.
• This role required strong communication skill in Italian and English.. Additional proficiency in Turkish would be a plus.

Sounds like a match

The position is classified at C2 level in accordance with the Italian National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL). Accordingly the salary range for this position is between 2498.86 and 2857.14 gross per month corresponding to an annual gross salary of 40000 paid over 14 monthly payments.
