We are looking for a Junior data visualization for an internship opportunity in Milan.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Develop attractive and innovative dashboards working with internal and external clients to understand and meet their needs.
Discover and collect data from heterogeneous sources understand its value and map it to a target or common data model.
Identify and define key business metrics and KPIs in partnership with business stakeholders.
Use different technologies to turn quantitative and qualitative data into compelling user-centric visualizations and dashboards that support data-driven insights and decision-making.
Apply best practices in data visualization design and continuously improve the user experience for business stakeholders.
Collaborate with data engineers to produce data pipelines and automate report generation and distribution.
Support end users with tool adoption and use active listening to identify new business opportunities.
Apply problem-solving and strategic thinking to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Demonstrated ability to analyze data and apply quantitative reasoning.
Basic experience with or knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or Datorama; relevant certifications are a plus.
Basic ability to use SQL and NoSQL databases to explore analyze and validate heterogeneous data sources.
Basic knowledge of data warehousing concepts including ETL stage and core layers dimensional modelling and data marts as well as SQL programming.
Basic knowledge of UX design principles including layout typography color and interaction design.
Demonstrates learning by adopting and sharing new ideas.
Ability to work independently and apply problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in written and spoken English
We offer a 6-month internship with a monthly compensation of 800.
