This position is in our specialized portfolio enterprise where we serve diverse businesses who support unique customers or markets including animal nutrition and health bioindustrial road safety salt and Cargill joint ventures.
The Dairy Management Consultant will provide guidance and support to existing and new dairy customers to improve their farm profitability and sustainability. You will work in a team supporting the distributors and sales representatives of the Purina brand to consolidate and expand our presence in Central and Southern Italy (Puglia - Basilicata - Molise - Campania). In this role you will with guidance help assess customer needs solve their inefficiencies and define the appropriate products services and solutions.
- Contribute to developing and delivering sales bids presentations and proposals and participating in product demonstrations.
- Help identify and contact prospective customers building relationships to generate future sales and repeat business.
- With basic knowledge of products their characteristics and market sell and stimulate demand for a series of products.
- Plan daily activities including customer visits and quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
- Follow market and competition evolution passing information to senior staff.
- Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree in animal science agricultural sciences or a related field or equivalent experience
- Availability for extensive travelling in the designated area.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in feed industry
- Excellence knowledge of Italian
- Good knowledge of English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1- 3 years of related experience at technical consulting positions in feed industry preferably in the ruminant sector (diary and buffaloes)
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to build effective relationships and work successfully in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
- Strong communication skills ability to relate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
