Your role

You will play a key role leading interdisciplinary and international teams working closely with C-level decision-makers to design tailored scalable and sustainable solutions; Manage project workstreams engage senior stakeholders and present recommendations to executive leadership.

Working at the intersection of strategy and execution you will support leading Aerospace & Defence players in addressing some of their most critical challenges helping them unlock growth and build the industrial capabilities required to compete in one of the worlds fastest-growing industries including:

Aerospace Defence & New Space industry

Program management and systems integration

Industrialization and production ramp-up

Supply chain procurement and supplier excellence

Complex architecture and ecosystem deployment

Capacity planning and industrial readiness

Operational excellence and value chain transformation

This role requires full availability to travel (80% of your working time will be spent at client sites in Italy and abroad (EU and extra EU).

Your profile

Degree in Engineering (preferably Aerospace Engineering) or an equivalent qualification. A PhD in Aerospace Engineering Space-related disciplines or an MBA is considered a strong plus

5-7 years of experience in Industrialization Supply Chain Procurement Operations or Operational Excellence within the Space Aerospace & Defence industry

Deep knowledge of the Space sector including space programs and products certification requirements technical specifications and complex stakeholder environments

Strong knowledge of both traditional Space and New Space business models including dual-use technologies and emerging industry ecosystems

Proven experience across the value chain from product development and industrialization to supplier management production ramp-up and operational scaling

Hands-on experience with key enabling technologies including the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Big Data & Analytics Augmented Reality (AR) Virtual Reality (VR) and Digital Twin technologies

Direct experience managing teams and resources

Excellent presentation and communication skills

Strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset

Enthusiasm for driving change

Excellent command of Microsoft and AI-powered tools

Fluency in both Italian and English. Knowledge of French or German is a plus

Willingness to travel and embrace new challenges

In accordance with applicable Italian pay transparency requirements the annual gross base salary for this role in Italy starts at 44000. The final fixed salary will be determined based on objective role-related criteria including relevant experience qualifications demonstrated skills and overall fit for the role.
