In Asset Management & Business Development Intern

Mangias is the Italian hospitality group that brings the authentic Italian vacanza to the world from the heart of Sicily and Sardinia: 21 properties across Resorts MClubs and Grand Hotels united by a vision built on Italian taste biophilic design sustainability and people.

We are looking for an intern to join our Asset Management team working closely with the Head of Asset Management and the Head of Business Development on a hands-on learning journeywith direct exposure to the numbers and decisions that drive the performance of our hotels.

What you will do

With ongoing guidance and mentorship you will move across the key levers that determine a hotels success: from competitive benchmarking to revenue management from cost analysis to reporting for senior management with a first taste of business development through market research and feasibility studies on new projects.

Specifically you will learn to:

• read our hotels performance against competitors using the industrys leading benchmarking tools (STR Lighthouse)
• take your first steps in revenue management: pricing channel mix tour operator contracts room categorization
• analyze operating costs and help identify efficiency opportunities
• build reports and presentations to support the budgeting process and monthly asset management meetings with operators
• support the Business Development team with market research and feasibility analysis
• monitor online reputation across our properties through industry platforms (Shiji ReviewPro Reputation)

What we are looking for

• Bachelors degree completed or nearing completion (a Masters in progress in Business Finance Real Estate or related fields is a plus)
• A passion for numbers and curiosity about the hospitality and real estate industry
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Access and PowerPoint SQL SAP and Oracle Opera
• Fluency in English; an additional language is preferred
• Precision proactivity and eagerness to learnno prior experience required
