As Head of Business Development EMEA you will lead our regional Business Development function driving growth market development and new business opportunities across EMEA. You will work closely with Sales Marketing and Business Units while leading an international team focused on delivering sustainable growth. This position can be based in Italy or Spain.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Define and execute the EMEA Business Development strategy in alignment with regional sales and growth objectives.
- Lead coach and develop a high-performing international Business Development team setting clear priorities and driving accountability.
- Drive lead generation target account programs and market development initiatives across the EMEA region.
- Identify qualify and develop new business opportunities to accelerate sustainable regional growth.
- Foster strong collaboration between Business Development Sales Marketing and Business Units to maximize commercial success.
- Own and continuously improve lead generation qualification conversion and sales handover processes.
- Monitor lead quality conversion rates and overall business impact through data-driven decision-making.
- Provide senior leadership with regular business performance updates market insights and strategic recommendations.
- Support regional growth initiatives marketing campaigns and new solution launches.
- Plan and coordinate participation in key industry events and trade fairs in partnership with Marketing.
- Promote best practices and drive a consistent Business Development approach across all EMEA countries.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior customer stakeholders and executive decision-makers to unlock new business opportunities.
- Bachelors degree or equivalent higher education qualification.
- Proven experience in Business Development Sales or Commercial Leadership roles within industrial automation intralogistics or solution-oriented environments.
- Strong knowledge of the intralogistics market and related customer applications.
- Experience leading or coordinating business development activities across multiple countries and markets.
- Demonstrated success in identifying qualifying and developing new business opportunities.
- Strong ability to engage influence and build relationships with senior customer stakeholders and executive decision-makers.
- Excellent presentation communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with lead management processes pipeline development and business development reporting.
- Strategic mindset combined with strong commercial acumen and market understanding.
- Analytical structured and results-oriented approach to business growth.
Compensation & Benefits
This is a Dirigente position compensation and benefits are based on CCNL Dirigenti and company policy.
The annual gross total target cash salary range is EUR 90.000 100.000. Final salary within this range will be determined based on objective job-related criteria including relevant experience skills role scope location internal equity and applicable pay policy/collective agreement provisions.
A Short-Term Incentive (STI) is included as part of the Total Target Cash (TTC).
