Field Service Engineer mfd

As an Advanced Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical support and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit.

In this role you will be responsible for executing a range of service assignments including repairs inspections assessments and maintenance while independently managing assigned tasks. Oversees warranty claims and service orders ensures compliance with deadlines and scheduling requirements and coordinates sub-contractors. Additionally you will build and maintain strong customer relationships to support ongoing service quality and satisfaction.

• Conducting customer visits and providing on-site technical consultation and support
• Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
• Planning and preparing service assignments both domestically and internationally
• Assessing workload requirements and coordinating service operations
• Performing service activities including inspection maintenance and repair
• Processing warranty cases including fault analysis and corrective actions
• Preparing and delivering on-site training sessions
• Preparing reports for internal and external use
• Ensuring compliance with company safety regulations and occupational safety standards
• Maintaining orderliness and cleanliness in the workplace

• Completed training/education as an Industrial Mechanic or an equivalent technical qualification
• Electrical and basic PLC knowledge or certification
• Professional experience as a Service Technician
• Good command of English
• Professional demeanor and strong negotiation skills.

Annual grosssalary from 59.300 and applicable NCBA is Contratto collettivo Nazionale Metalmeccanico Grande Industria. Final salary offer will depend on your experience and qualifications and are also based on objective and gender-neutral criteria. Incentive and benefits to be part of the offer.

Honeywell recently announced plans to sell its Intelligrated (IGS) business to American Industrial Partners (AIP). At this time we anticipate that the deal will close in the second half of 2026 subject to customary closing conditions.
