Job Summary

The eBeam technology represents a major breakthrough in packaging sterilisation enabling high-speed production reduced operational costs and significant reductions in the use of chemicals water and energy. We are looking for talented people across multiple areasDevelopment Engineering Production and Supplier Managementto help drive the evolution of our eBeam system for todays and tomorrows filling equipment.

We are hiring aSupplier Manager who will ensure a competitive reliable and sustainable supplier base that supports business strategy through effective supplier management strategic sourcing cost optimization and risk mitigation. The eBeam Supplier Manager is responsible for managing and developing suppliers primarily Germanspeaking suppliers to ensure quality cost delivery sustainability and innovation targets are met. The role combines strategic sourcing supplier relationship management contract negotiation and crossfunctional collaboration to support operational and R&D needs.

This is a permanent position based in Modena Italy. For knowledge transfer from Flamatt site travel to Switzerland is required at the beginning of the assignment.

What you will do

Supplier Management & Development

  • Manage and develop an assigned portfolio of suppliers mainly Germanspeaking suppliers
  • Act as the main interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Build longterm trustbased supplier relationships
  • Ensure supplier performance in terms of quality cost delivery service and compliance
  • Lead regular supplier review meetings and performance evaluations

Strategic Sourcing & Purchasing Support

  • Implement and execute sourcing strategies aligned with company and category strategies
  • Identify evaluate and onboard new suppliers for series production and R&D projects
  • Support R&D and engineering teams during supplier selection and development phases
  • Provide functional guidance and support to operational purchasing

Contract & Commercial Management

  • Prepare negotiate and conclude contracts such as:
      • Supply Agreements
      • Framework Agreements
      • Confidentiality Agreements (NDAs)
  • Lead and successfully close price and commercial negotiations
  • Ensure contractual compliance and risk coverage

Cost Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Drive cost reduction initiatives and continuous cost improvement with existing suppliers
  • Identify value engineering and shouldcost opportunities
  • Monitor and challenge cost drivers and price development
  • Contribute to budget planning and cost forecasting

Risk Management & Supplier Sustainability

  • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks (capacity financial stability geopolitical technical)
  • Develop contingency and dualsourcing strategies where required
  • Ensure suppliers comply with relevant compliance sustainability and ethical requirements

Quality & Supplier Qualification

  • Actively participate in supplier audits and supplier qualification activities
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering and Operations on supplier issues
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplierrelated issues

KPI & Performance Management

  • Define maintain and monitor supplier KPIs
  • Establish and continuously improve a supplier performance measurement system
  • Report supplier performance and escalation topics to management
We believe you have

Educational & Professional Experience

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Business Administration or a related field
  • Several years of experience in supplier management strategic purchasing or sourcing
  • Proven experience working with suppliers in Germanspeaking regions
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing or technologydriven environment preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
  • Strong knowledge of supplier management principles and strategic sourcing
  • Experience in contract management and commercial negotiations
  • Cost analysis and financial understanding in a purchasing environment
  • Understanding of quality management and supplier audit processes
  • German: Fluent (spoken and written) mandatory
  • English: Very good (spoken and written)
  • Additional languages are an advantage
