International School of Milan is looking for a Cover Teaching Assistant for a temporary rolestarting from late August 2026.
We are also looking forrecurring availability to provide short occasional cover when needed.
Immediate availability is an advantageand cover requests may be for a single day or brief periods across the academic year.

- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging play-based learning experiences
- Lead learning with individual children and small groups to support development
- Assist in setting up and maintaining a stimulating Early Years learning environment
- Support childrens social emotional and physical development
- Help manage classroom routines transitions and behaviour in a positive manner
- Contribute to monitoring childrens progress and communicate observations to the class teacher
- Support children with additional needs where required
- Ensure a safe clean and well-organised classroom environment
- Supervise children during playtime activities and school events
- Uphold safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
- Experience working with young children (ages 25)
- A warm patient and nurturing approach
- High expectations of behaviour and age-related learning outcomes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Energy flexibility and a proactive attitude
- Legal right to live and work in Italy (EU passport or valid work permit)
