Commis de Cuisine FMX

The Commis de Cuisine supports the culinary team in the preparation cooking and presentation of food ensuring the highest standards of quality hygiene and guest satisfaction expected in a luxury 5-star hotel. The role provides an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills while working alongside experienced chefs in a professional and fast-paced environment.

• Prepare ingredients including vegetables meats fish sauces and garnishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items for restaurants banquets room service breakfast and special events.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to hotel quality standards.
• Support the brigade during service periods while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.
• Assist with receiving storing and rotating products according to FIFO procedures.
• Follow HACCP procedures and food safety regulations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment work areas and storage rooms.
• Ensure proper handling labeling and storage of food products.
• Comply with all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications :

• Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training preferred.
• Previous internship or experience in hotels restaurants or catering operations is considered an asset.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
• Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

• Gross annual salary range: 21.200 - 22.000 euro
