Job Summary

  • Oversee daily accounting processes including general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable payroll fixed assets and bank reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Review journal entries account reconciliations and financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure full compliance with tax regulations statutory requirements and internal financial policies.
  • Maintain and develop effective internal controls to safeguard hotel assets.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits support the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts and closely monitor cash flow and financial performance.
  • Supervise mentor and evaluate the accounting staff to foster professional development and high performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with management by providing detailed financial analysis and recommendations to guide business decisions.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or any related field.
  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive accounting experience including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles taxation and financial reporting standards.
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel knowledge of USUALI.
