If you are a Buyer professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career Emerson offers an exciting opportunity to join our Supply Chain team in Lugagnano Val dArda (PC). In this role you will support the procurement of indirect materials services and facility-related investments helping to ensure operational excellence cost effectiveness supplier performance and continuous improvement across the organization. Working closely with internal stakeholders and supplier partners you will contribute to delivering high-quality solutions that support business objectives while fostering collaboration innovation and customer focus.

In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Manage purchasing requests and issue purchase orders for indirect materials services and facility capital expenditures in alignment with business requirements.

  • Collaborate with sourcing and category management teams to support supplier selection sourcing activities and procurement initiatives.

  • Oversee the lifecycle of purchase orders including updates revisions and contract adjustments when needed.

  • Coordinate capital expenditure approval requests and monitor approval workflows.

  • Support supplier onboarding processes and ensure compliance with corporate requirements and due diligence standards.

  • Monitor supplier delivery commitments proactively identify risks and coordinate solutions with internal stakeholders.

  • Partner with Maintenance Facilities Accounting and other functions to ensure effective execution of projects and services.

  • Review supplier invoices and supporting documentation resolving discrepancies to facilitate accurate and timely payment processing.

  • Assist in the preparation and management of supplier agreements contracts blanket orders and related documentation.

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers serving as a key point of contact for procurement-related activities.

  • Support supplier performance monitoring identify trends or recurring issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaborate across teams to resolve operational quality delivery or invoicing challenges.

  • Analyze procurement data and contribute to reporting activities that support informed business decisions.

  • Conduct occasional supplier visits to support project execution strengthen partnerships and ensure service quality.

For This Role You Will Need:
  • Education in supply chain procurement engineering or a related field.

  • Experience supporting procurement purchasing supply chain maintenance facilities or a related operational environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Working knowledge of English for business communication. Fluent Italian.

  • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and support reporting activities.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.

  • Availability for occasional business travel within Northern Italy.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.

  • Knowledge of e-procurement platforms and purchasing cloud solutions.

  • Understanding of accounts payable or procure-to-pay processes.

  • Experience supporting supplier performance management contract administration or sourcing initiatives.

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary within the local market in which we operate and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is 28000 & 45000 EURannually commensurate with the skills talent capabilities and experience each candidate brings to a role. The role is suitable for candidates with early career experience as well as professionals looking to further develop their skill in project quality. This role is covered by the Industria Metalmeccanica Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) which defines the applicable compensation structure and progression (CCNL Metalmeccanici Assolombarda).
