• The Buyer supports QVC Italy and will be responsible for sourcing purchasing and merchandising a specific product range in a timely and efficient manner in order to maximize the companys net profit contribution.

Where Youll Work

• This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite in Brugherio (MB) several days per month; onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company.

• This is a full-time temporary contract - maternity cover.

What Youll Do
Reporting to the Home Buying Manager you will:

• Source select and secure a suitable range of products for QVC that fits the target market.

• Negotiate the best possible prices and conditions.

• Work closely with the Planning team to review product performance and to plan and grow the product range.

• Monitor inventory levels taking accountability for the return-to-supplier process.

• Meet regularly with suppliers to review product performance.

What Youll Bring

• At least 23 years of experience as a home retail buyer.

• A degree in Economics or equivalent; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel; expertise in home textiles is highly appreciated.

• Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.

• A proactive mindset strong personal accountability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully across teams.

• Fluency in English and Italian.
