Bluesign Chemical Company Assessor

Primary Responsibilities:

The chemical company assessor performs assessments according to the bluesign criteria as well as the follow-up for achieving compliance with the bluesign criteria

Specific Responsibilities:

• Preparation of company assessments according to the bluesign criteria
• Pre-evaluation of preparation documents
• Company assessments onsite with report writing and related evaluations
• Follow-up of roadmap for achieving compliance with the bluesign criteria (implementation process)
• Actualization and maintenance of the business process leading IT tool
• Perform follow up assessments to monitor continuous improvement at company
• Project work as needed and agreed

Qualifications :

• Educational background: engineering/ natural science/ technical degree ideally textile related  (e.g. textile engineer chemical engineer environmental scientist or similar)
• Knowledge in the field of product stewardship classification and labelling as well as regulatory affairs
• Knowledge in the field of chemistry and/ or plastic industry manufacturing
• Knowledge in the fields of environment health and safety and prior experience with auditing
• Professional experience requested
• Good English skills (especially written)
• Fluent in Italian

• Ability to exercise good and fact-based assessments
