Position: Audiobook QA Expert Italian
Type: Contract
Compensation: $15$20/hour
Location: Remote
Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in Italian and evaluate the naturalness accuracy and enjoyment of the narration.
• Identify and log errors in synthesized speech such as skipped added or mispronounced words incorrect numbers and unnatural phrasing.
• Categorize issues and mark the exact span where they occur using our review tools.
• Report on listener satisfaction and highlight where narration feels natural versus disruptive.
• Maintain attention to detail and consistency across extensive audio sessions.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian (Italy).
• Genuine interest in audiobooks with regular listening habits.
• Working knowledge of English for clear reporting and team communication.
• Experience in annotation labeling transcription proofreading or similar detail-oriented work.
• Availability for 20 hours/week on a part-time basis.

Preferred

• Experience with AI training-data model evaluation or audio/QA annotation projects.
• Background in language editing voice or audio production.
