Aero Alliance Manufacturing Process Specialist Machining

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Specialist Machining with a deep background in shop-floor operations to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence by creating robust manufacturing standards including detailed Work Instructions and Job Safety Analyses (JSA). The ideal candidate will be a technical leader on the floorstandardizing tooling driving complex troubleshooting and providing active support to production teams. You will be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives leveraging process innovation to optimize Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC) in the manufacturing of high-precision gas turbine and aeroderivative components.

Key Responsibilities

• Standardization: Develop maintain and update Work Instructions and Job Safety Analyses (JSA) to ensure safe repeatable and compliant manufacturing processes.
• Process Engineering: Design program and implement machining processes for complex components.
• Programming & Optimization: Develop and refine CNC programs using CAD/CAM software (NX preferred) and manual ISO/G-code editing.
• Tooling Strategy: Standardize tooling and lead the design of specialized jigs and fixtures required for specific machining operations.
• Shop Floor Support: Provide active hands-on technical support to production including real-time troubleshooting machine sub-routine optimization and process adjustment.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead process innovation projects to drive improvements in Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC).

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Practical Experience: Must have a proven history as a CNC Operator or CNC Shop Floor Supervisor/Manufacturing Support
• CNC Programming: At least 2 years of experience in CNC programming (ISO/G-code and CAD/CAM).
• Siemens Controls: At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with Siemens CNC controllers.
• Process Knowledge: Comprehensive mastery of CNC machining processes including lathe milling grinding and drilling.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical drawings and blueprints.
• Deep understanding of machine tool capabilities and process parameters.
• Proven experience in developing and troubleshooting CNC machine sub-routines.
• Software Skills: Previous experience in tooling design for machining processes using NX.
• Mindset: Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Language skills: proficient in Italian and good English skills (reading & writing)

Preferred Qualifications

• Specific experience in the repair and refurbishment of gas turbine and aeroderivative parts.
• Advanced technical certifications related to CNC machining or mechanical engineering technology.

Fascia retributive: Tra 31800.00 e 47700.00 lordi annui. La retribuzione specifica offerta terrà conto dellistruzione delle qualifiche dellesperienza e delle competenze del candidato.

The pay range for this position: Between 31800.00 and 47700.00 gross per annum. The specific pay offered will consider the candidates education qualifications experience and skill set.

A Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA - Metalworking) is applicable in relation to position. The available benefits based on the currently effective CBA and company policies include the following:

Base salary: The remuneration is established according to the Metalworking CBA salary scale which defines job groups and minimum salary levels.

Pensione Integrativa (Cometa): Tutti i livelli sono eligibili ad eccezione dei dirigenti.
Contributo del datore di lavoro: 2% (22% se under 35). Contributo del dipendente: 12%. Base di calcolo: retribuzione mensile lorda.

• 50% for office staff and non-shift production workers for overtime worked between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM
• 50% for shift production workers for overtime worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM

Night overtime Saturday Sunday and public holidays:

In case of compensatory time off the premiums provided for under the applicable national collective bargaining agreement (CCNL) apply.

Maggiorazioni e indennità turno: PER OPERAI TURNISTI: Maggiorazione del 20% per la fascia oraria dalle 18:00 alle 22:00. Indennità di 350 per ogni turno lavorato.

Shift premium and allowance: FOR SHIFT WORKERS: 20% premium for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM. 3.50 allowance for each shift worked.
