In this role you will work closely with the games studios the Legal Privacy and Compliance teams and competitive intelligence functions to develop and monitor policies and standards applicable to our products and services in compliance with existing and emerging new laws relevant for social games companies. The Regulatory Counsel will report to the SVP Legal & Regulatory Affairs.
- Monitor evaluate and advise on regulatory and legal requirements and industry best practices existing and emerging that arerelevant for the gaming industry.
- Draft review and maintain new and existing policies and processes in collaboration with the Compliance team to ensure compliance with applicable regulation and platform requirements.
- Educate support and collaborate with legal colleagues to review new products and features to comply with relevant regulation.
- Closely collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory requirements and monitor ongoing compliance.
- Respond to cross-functional teams seeking advice as needed.
- Manage outside counsels in several countries to seek and implement advice.
- Support regulatory affairs activities.
- 5-7yearsof relevant legal experience.
- Licensed to practice law in Israel a US or a EU jurisdiction.
- Experience working in a global in-house legal team in gaming other content or social media or a high-tech regulatory role advising international clients in a major law firm; experience working in both a strong plus.
- Experience advising on laws applicable to B2C online services and mobile apps consumer protection ecommerce and online safety in the EU and at least one of the following jurisdictions: UK US Australia.
- Experience dealing with relevant regulators a strong plus.
- Experience advising on the practical implementation of new regulatory requirements.
- Experience developing and rolling out compliance policies and compliance training.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to develop solutions and translate legal analysis into practical advice that reflects the businesss needs andobjectives.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a large number of diverse projects and tasks.
- Ability to work as a team player who can effectively work with manage and coordinate colleagues and internal stakeholders from cross-functional teams.
- Highest standards of ethics and professional integrity.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentationskills in English.
