Senior Backend Engineer (Search)

Join Fiverrs Tech R&D department as a Senior Backend Software Engineer and play a critical role in our upcoming major product launches. Youll step into a key position focusing on backend architecture and search experience.

• Own and drive the architecture and development of complex backend services and APIs essential for upcoming product launches.
• Champion backend architecture ensuring its stability scalability and continuous improvement to support evolving product needs.
• Provide expert technical guidance and conduct thorough code reviews to enhance team velocity and maintain high-quality standards.
• Apply search expertise to elevate backend capabilities and significantly contribute to strategic product decisions.
• Seamlessly integrate into daily engineering workflows offering real-time support and collaborative problem-solving.
• Lead and execute critical technical projects driving them from conception to successful deployment with full ownership.

Working with AI

This role will leverage AI-powered coding assistants and code review tools to enhance productivity and code quality. While AI will assist in generating boilerplate code identifying potential issues and optimizing performance suggestions the critical architectural decisions complex problem-solving and final code validation will remain under your expert human oversight.
