A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Manufacture glass envelopes used in IR source production according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Provide technical support within the Lamps Department across production maintenance and operational activities.
• Perform a variety of duties in mechanical vacuum and testing environments.
• Troubleshoot adjust test and maintain vacuum equipment and related components devices and systems.
• Execute testing and troubleshooting activities using diagrams technical documentation verbal instructions and defined work plans.
• Support routine production operations while ensuring compliance with manufacturing requirements and safety procedures.
• Document and communicate technical information that requires explanation or interpretation to relevant stakeholders.
• Perform precision manual operations while maintaining product quality and process consistency.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Technical school diploma.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to perform precision manual work and delicate assembly or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to follow established systems techniques procedures technical documentation and work instructions.
• Basic technical English proficiency.
