The Team
The Cortex Cloud Application Security (CAS) product is responsible for securing the development ecosystem from code to deployment We scan everything : IaC proprietary code open sources VCS pipelines and more. This is being composed into application risk and major part of the code to cloud offering of Prisma product identifies problems facilitates shift left operations and helps our customers remediate them.
Job Summary
As a Principal Product Manager for Cortex Cloud Application Security (CAS) you will be at the forefront of securing the development ecosystem from code to deployment. You will help design build and ship industry-defining products that facilitate shift left security operations. Your work will directly empower application security teams and developers to build more secure cloud applications by identifying and remediating risks across IaC source code open-source libraries and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the entire product lifecycle for key areas of Cortex Cloud CAS from customer feedback collection and feature prioritization to writing product requirements and working with engineering to deliver the roadmap.
Lead core pillars within the CAS product driving growth by bringing innovative and disruptive approaches to solve complex application security challenges.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across a global organization including engineering sales marketing and customer success to ensure product alignment and successful launches.
Develop a deep understanding of DevOps and Application Security practitioner workflows and use cases to guide product strategy and ensure solutions meet customer needs.
Partner with go-to-market teams to support existing customers identify common user problems and effectively launch new solutions and features.
Take ownership of new technology products and their full lifecycle ensuring they meet enterprise-class standards and deliver value to customers.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
7 years of experience in product management with at least 2 years working on SaaS products.
3 years of experience working in the application security and/or cloud security vendor space.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or another relevant engineering or technical field.
A proven track record of delivering customer acquisition growth and optimizing key product metrics throughout the product lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
A strong desire to take ownership of new technology products and a drive to design new innovative and disruptive solutions.
Inherent passion for cybersecurity and a problem-solving mindset that aligns with challenging the status quo.
Articulate and effective communication skills both in writing and verbally with the ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
Demonstrates a collaborative can-do approach and works well within a team to achieve shared objectives.
