About the Role

Harman Software Products operation teams provide ongoing maintenance and 24/7 support to our customers in the automotive industry. The team consists of highly technical engineers working on complex architectures and cloud deployments.As an App Subject Matter Expert Engineer you will own strategic accountsdemonstratehigh levelsof technicalexpertiseandwork closely with customers and engineering teams to provide top-of-class service.

What You Will Do

• Provide ongoing integrationandmaintenanceof Harman OTA solution

• Ensuretimelyresolution of customer issues andmaintainhigh customer satisfaction

• Provide hands-on customer support and ticket handling

• Own and lead complex technical problems and escalations

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications

• Continuouslymonitorand enhance application performance reliability and scalability

• Activelyparticipatein the requirements and architecture process

• Be part of the on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support

What You Need to Be Successful

• . degree in Computer Science or equivalent

• 10 years of experience in the softwareindustry incustomer-orientedroles

• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux:Proficiencyin Linux system administration including scripting abilities

• Web and server architecture: In-depth understanding of web technologies and server architecture including deployment and maintenance

• Networking architecture: Comprehensive knowledge of networking principles and hands-on experience with network configuration and troubleshooting

• Database management: Ability to read and manage databases including SQL and NoSQL databases

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and process optimization

• Experience inmanaging and supporting customers from different regions

• Excellent customer service communication skills in English

• Ability to work flexible hours according to customers needs

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Ability to build andmaintainpositive relationships with team members and customers

• Proficiencyin Java programming and development
