The Role:

The Credit Risk Analyst is part of the Credit Risk Function. As a Risk Analyst you will help provide technical and data analytical support to ensure accurate timely and relevant risk information about the banks credit portfolio is delivered to senior management risk committees and regulators.

The role provides in-depth exposure analysis risk insights and reporting for all credit portfolios consisting of all products which expose Cross River Bank to credit risk. The analysis and reporting support senior managements understanding of current risk drivers portfolio concentrations correlations and potential emerging risks.

What Youll Actually Be Doing:
  • Prepare Credit Portfolio review materials ensuring accuracy timeliness and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements for the Credit Committee
  • Support the analysis of material variances in the Credit portfolio. Prepare clear and accurate summaries of analysis findings for internal stakeholder discussion
  • Participate in end-to-end report development lifecycle: conceptualization data collection and aggregation prototyping report production and automation
  • Develop and monitor risk appetite metrics to ensure the risk that the business is taking is appropriate and within the firms established risk tolerance
  • Assist with ad-hoc requests for new point-in-time and trend analysis of the credit portfolio including capture and aggregation of data not already in credit risk or CRB systems
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to summarize information for delivery to senior management
  • Support regulatory examination request

Requirements:

What You Bring to the Table

  • Proficient in Hebrew and English both written and verbal sufficient for achieving consensus and success in a remote and asynchronous work environment with ongoing daily correspondence by email - Must
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Risk management at a financial or fintech institution - Must
  • 2 years of experience as a Credit Risk Analyst in a fast-moving business environment - Must
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written - Must
  • Available at least one day a week for US overlap hours - Must
  • A science/technical related college/undergraduate degree
  • Understanding of Credit concepts on Commercial and Consumer Lending products as well as Market Place Lending
  • Quick thinker fast learner and problem solver with demonstrated ability to complete tasks from start to finish
  • Good team player self-motivated to learn independently and demonstrate proactive approach to improve processes
