Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Lead a team of high-performing researchers to develop innovative algorithmic solutions that support and advance our medical device from the fields of Machine Learning Computer Vision and Image Processing
• Represent the algorithm team in global forums and communicate ongoing progress key results risks and challenges to global stakeholders
• Lead the algorithm development lifecycle: research design implement validate document and optimize algorithms for our products
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to algorithm developers; conduct design/code reviews and ensure best practices and high-quality deliverables
• Partner with Data Software Systems Clinical and Product teams to define requirements plan milestones manage risks and drive end-to-end delivery from prototyping to production

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• MSc. or PhD in Computer Science/Software Engineering/EE/other relevant field - MUST
• Proficiency and proven experience in developing optimizing validating and deploying machine learning algorithms deep learning techniques and AI models to production
• Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on AI advancements and trends
• 7 years of R&D experience (algorithms / ML) including ownership of end-to-end delivery
• Proven leadership experience (team lead / tech lead) including mentoring prioritization and driving execution across multiple stakeholders
• 3 years of hands-on experience in Python (ability to lead by example with production-quality code)
• Team player with very strong leadership and communication skills; able to influence and align across R&D and cross-functional stakeholders
• Structured problem solver with sound technical judgment and data-driven decision making
• High ownership: able to plan prioritize and drive tasks end-to-end while unblocking others and managing risks
