POSITION SUMMARY
The Workcell Manager leads a cross-functional team to deliver operational excellence customer satisfaction and financial performance within the cloud manufacturing business unit. This role is responsible for aligning team efforts with strategic goals driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
Location: Dublin Blanchardstown
Work arrangement: fully on-site
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Team Development
- Define staffing needs and collaborate with Functional Managers to ensure the right mix of skills and capacity.
- Coach and mentor team members to support professional growth and high performance.
- Set clear goals and expectations; monitor progress through KPIs and regular feedback.
- Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Operational Excellence
- Oversee daily operations of the workcell ensuring efficiency quality and on-time delivery.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives and implement process improvements using data-driven methods.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality systems.
- Monitor and manage workcell metrics including productivity yield and cost performance.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Develop and execute workcell strategies aligned with site and customer objectives.
- Participate in business planning including forecasting budgeting and resource allocation.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through process optimization and innovation.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance risks and improvement plans.
Customer & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary customer interface for the workcell ensuring clear communication and high satisfaction.
- Ensure customer requirements are understood and met with a focus on quality and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with engineering quality supply chain and other departments to resolve issues and support new product introductions.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across teams and Jabil sites.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree is required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fast-paced electrical manufacturing industry including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage customer relationships in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication analytical and organizational skills.
- Fluent English required
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Office-based with frequent interaction on the production floor.
- Must be able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
