About the Role

This role is responsible for ensuring the safe secure and accurate handling and transportation of goods while following safe driving practices and complying with Company policies procedures and operational standards.

Contract Type: Permanent (6-month probationary period).

Working Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday - Friday.

Location: Ace Express Freight Unit 5/6 M1 Business Park Courtlough Balbriggan Co. Dublin K32 WY84.

Key Duties of the Role

• Carrying out a range of warehouse and operational duties including order picking packing checking loading unloading and scanning in a safe accurate and efficient manner.

• Completing relevant paperwork accurately and in a timely manner ensuring records are maintained in accordance with Company procedures.

• Conduct pre-use vehicle and equipment checks reporting any defects or issues in line with Company procedures.

• Report any load discrepancies damages shortages or overages promptly and in accordance with established procedures.

• Maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety procedures and keeping work areas clean tidy and free from hazards at all times.

• Complete all required training and maintain compliance with Company policies procedures and standards as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

• Promote a positive and collaborative working environment.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum two years forklift experience in a busy warehouse environment.

• Valid in-date forklift license.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Positive can do attitude.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team in a busy fast paced environment.

• Excellent Customer Service skills.

• GDP and HAACP training desirable.
