Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring an Urology Surgical Registrar to a leading Hospital in DublinIreland.

Key Responsibilities


  • Support Consultants in the delivery of Urology surgical services
  • Assess review and manage surgical patients
  • Conduct post-operative patient reviews and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Participate in daily Consultant rounds and clinical handovers
  • Assist in theatre sessions as rostered
  • Perform clinical procedures as required
  • Prescribe medications in line with hospital policy and Consultant direction
  • Respond to medical and surgical emergencies throughout the hospital
  • Ensure informed consent and patient records are completed appropriately
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support quality patient outcomes
  • Participate in roster coordination alongside the Medical Manpower Manager
  • Comply with all hospital policies procedures and clinical governance standards


Requirements
  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)
  • Current registration with the Irish Medical Council
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Previous experience working at Registrar level in an acute hospital setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to service delivery
  • Previous General Urology experience desirable
  • Experience assisting in robotic urology surgery desirable
