Transportation Design Engineer

We are seeking a Transportation Design Engineer with relevant years of planning and design experience. You will join the growing highways and transportation team in our Cork office.

• You must be enthusiastic keen to learn dedicated flexible willing to seek responsibility and comfortable working as part of a team.
• The role will involve preliminary and detailed design input to statutory processes preparation of contract documents contract administration and construction supervision.

• Relevant years of experience in a consultancy environment.
• Level 8 (minimum) or Level 9 (preferred) Qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Aiming to achieve Chartered Engineer status.
• Knowledge and experience of relevant design standards including TII Publications Cycle Design Manual DMURS etc. and ability to translate this knowledge into practical design solutions.
• Computer literate with experience of relevant design software (AutoCAD Civil 3D etc).
• Experience in design and build schemes.
• Experience in development of road schemes (preferably in Ireland) including feasibility studies options assessments preliminary designs planning processes EIAR CPO tender document preparation contract administration and construction supervision.
• Full Irish or EU Driving Licence.
