We are looking for a Biologics Maintenance Team Lead to join our team in Ballytivnan Sligo. This is a Permanent position. The position reports directly to the Engineering Lead.

As part of the Engineering Leadership Team the Maintenance Lead is responsible for aspects associated with aseptic fill-finish & Conjugation production facilities for the Biologics site (ABB). The Maintenance Lead is responsible for providing team leadership and direction to the maintenance team committed to delivering equipment utilities and a facility suitable for aseptic fill finish manufacturing and formulation of biologics.

The Maintenance Lead will assist in building and growing the maintenance organization through the development of the Maintenance Excellence Program utilising CMMS - Maximo and in parallel support key manufacturing personnel for unit manufacturing and aseptic filling operations lead continuous project improvements approve protocols and other technical addition participate in the interpretation of data and collaboration with other departments.

This is an onsite role.

What you will do:

  • Implementation of all relevant policies and procedures relating to Engineering Personnel Quality & Safety.
  • Ensure that the plant meets its customer service quality safety and inventory management goals through the effective management of plant resources.
  • Ensure the department satisfies its customers requirements by meeting agreed volume and mix goals.
  • Lead the maintenance function for all process equipment and ensure
  • MEP requirements are achieved.
  • Support the introduction of new products or to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop the skills of the maintenance group.
  • Support successful external and internal audits.
  • Ensure safety standards are met and safe working practices adhered to.
  • Provide technical expertise for commercial manufacturing during development of new products manage timelines and resources.
  • Identification and technical development of continuous improvement projects.
  • Attend management team meetings and develop site and department goals and strategies.
  • Complete other responsibilities as directed.

Qualifications :

What you will need:

  • 3rd level qualification in Engineering
  • 5 years experience Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Biologics preferably
  • 3 years experience in a team lead position
  • Experience in leading teams
