Teamworx are recruiting an experienced and motivated Store Manager to join one of our clients an established Irish retailer in their Thurles store.

As Store Manager you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations commercial performance and overall success of the store.

You will lead from the shop floor driving sales maintaining excellent store standards and creating a positive working environment where your team can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead motivate and develop a high-performing retail team.
  

• Drive store sales achieve KPIs and maximise commercial opportunities.
  

• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  

• Coach train and support employees to achieve individual and team targets.
  

• Manage employee performance including addressing underperformance where required.
  

• Oversee staff rotas holidays attendance and daily store operations.
  

• Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
  

• Manage stock levels deliveries stockroom organisation and stock control.
  

• Monitor payroll labour costs and other controllable store expenses.
  

• Ensure effective delegation and clear communication of store priorities.
  

• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
  

• Work closely with the wider Operations and Head Office teams.
  

• Ensure compliance with company policies procedures and Health & Safety standards.
  

We are looking for a confident hands-on retail leader with strong commercial awareness and a genuine passion for people development.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have:

• 23 years experience in a retail Store Manager position.
  

• Proven experience managing motivating and developing a retail team.
  

• A strong track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
  

• Excellent leadership coaching and people-management skills.
  

• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of retail performance.
  

• Experience managing staff performance and driving accountability.
  

• Excellent organisational planning and delegation skills.
  

• A customer-focused approach with high standards of service.
  

• Experience in stock management merchandising and cost control.
  

• Confidence using retail systems and technology.
  

• A positive proactive and solutions-focused attitude.
  

• A full clean drivers licence.
