Job Summary
Deliver high-quality pre- peri- and post-procedure nursing care and support the effective management of patient care within the unit
Provide safe comprehensive and patient-centred nursing care in a timely accurate and efficient manner with minimal supervision
Manage the care and treatment of elective patients ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice are maintained
Develop implement and document individualised care plans based on patient needs and best practice guidelines
Participate in quality assurance initiatives and adhere to Infection Prevention and Control standards
Promote and maintain the safety health and wellbeing of patients while respecting their dignity privacy and confidentiality
Ensure all patient records are accurately maintained and managed in line with hospital policies and relevant legislation
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Communicate effectively with colleagues and other members of the healthcare team
Practice within the professional guidelines set by NMBI and adhere to hospital policies procedures and standards
Demonstrate flexibility by supporting other departments and areas of the hospital as required
- Registered in the General Division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Demonstrates evidence of ongoing personal and professional development.
- Minimum four years post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting as a Staff Nurse.

Required Skills:
