We are hiring a Staff Nurse Dermatology & Tissue Viability (Support role) for a hospital located in Tralee Ireland.
- Deliver high-quality evidence-based nursing care to patients with dermatological conditions and complex wounds.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Support the prevention assessment and management of pressure injuries chronic wounds and tissue viability concerns.
- Assist with dermatology procedures wound dressings skin assessments and patient education.
- Monitor patients progress maintain accurate clinical documentation and report changes in condition promptly.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NMBI guidelines and hospital policies.
- Educate and support patients families and staff on skin care wound management and pressure ulcer prevention.
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards and promote patient safety at all times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives clinical audits and continuing professional development.
- Collaborate effectively with consultants nursing colleagues and the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum 2 years of post-registration acute care nursing experience.
- Interest or experience in Tissue Viability and/or Dermatology is desirable.
- Postgraduate qualification in Tissue Viability and/or Dermatology is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT and clinical documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills:
Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI). Minimum 2 years of post-registration acute care nursing experience. Interest or experience in Tissue Viability and/or Dermatology is desirable. Postgraduate qualification in Tissue Viability and/or Dermatology is desirable. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good IT and clinical documentation skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
