We are currently recruiting an Enhanced Staff Nurse Anaesthetics (Operating Theatre) for a leading hospital in Dublin.

Job Title: Staff Nurse
Department: Anaesthetics Theatre
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)


Responsibilities

  • Create and record a care plan based on best practices and the needs of the patient.
  • Revise the computerised or printed care plan.
  • Create individualised and suitable patient education and discharge plans and make use of the wards resources.
  • In line with the patient care plan cooperate with other members of the healthcare team within the designated clinical area.
  • Establish discharge standards as soon as the patient is admitted.
  • Make time in your schedule for meetings training and other activities.
  • Perform operations in accordance with established policy and procedures and provide safe thorough nursing based on current standards and research.
  • Care plans should be properly reviewed and updated.
  • Assess ones own nursing practice in relation to care standards and be aware of ones own capabilities.




Requirements
  • Registered with the NMBIs general division
  • Three years or more of experience in either Anaesthetics or general theatre
  • Proof of individual professional growth
  • Continuous skill development that is pertinent to the care needed for the patient caseload
