Spinal Nurse Part-time
Job Summary
Responsibilities
Identify and assess potential spinal surgery candidates during pre-admission and post-discharge facilitating post-acute discharge planning and appropriate referrals.
Act as a resource and point of contact for spinal patients attending other departments within or outside the hospital for treatment.
Collaborate with the surgeon to coordinate patient care effectively.
Coordinate and communicate patient information while maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
Assist in the development and delivery of teaching and training programmes.
Current NMBI registration.
Minimum of 5 years post-registration experience is desirable.
Strong commitment to patient safety and quality of care.
Excellent interpersonal organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently use initiative and demonstrate self-motivation.
