Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across Hospitals Nursing Homes Home Care and Community Care settings.

We are currently hiring a Senior Radiographer ( Specific Purpose) for a Hospital in Galway Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and clinical indications.

  • Ensure accurate patient identification care comfort and safety during all radiographic procedures.

  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a supportive and efficient working environment.

  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely performing routine checks and reporting technical issues promptly.

  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and hospital policies at all times.

  • Participate in quality assurance programmes to maintain high standards of imaging and service delivery.

  • Keep up to date with developments in radiographic technology and techniques.

  • Support training supervision and mentoring of students or junior staff as required.

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and initiative in addressing technical or clinical challenges.



Requirements
  • BSc (Hons) in Radiography Diploma of the College of Radiographers or an equivalent recognised qualification

  • Current registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of CORU and a commitment to maintaining registration

  • Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience

  • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant radiography modality is highly desirable
