Job Summary

We are currently hiring a Senior Radiographer ( Specific Purpose) for a Hospital in Galway Ireland.
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality radiographic examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and clinical indications.
Ensure accurate patient identification care comfort and safety during all radiographic procedures.
Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team contributing to a supportive and efficient working environment.
Maintain and operate imaging equipment safely performing routine checks and reporting technical issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with radiation safety regulations and hospital policies at all times.
Participate in quality assurance programmes to maintain high standards of imaging and service delivery.
Keep up to date with developments in radiographic technology and techniques.
Support training supervision and mentoring of students or junior staff as required.
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and initiative in addressing technical or clinical challenges.
BSc (Hons) in Radiography Diploma of the College of Radiographers or an equivalent recognised qualification
Current registration with the Radiographers Registration Board of CORU and a commitment to maintaining registration
Minimum of 3 years post-graduate clinical experience
Postgraduate qualification in a relevant radiography modality is highly desirable
